Show A GO MOTHER 0 MEE 14 mrs eli T peirce of harper died at her home friday night funeral yesterday maggle maggie olsen peirce wife of 0 ell eli T peirce died Friday afternoon at at the family home in harper ward after an illnesses ot of two weeks caused by paralytic stroke she was the mother ot of a large family a most lovable lady and numbered ll 11 her r friends by the number of her acquaintances mrs peirce was born february 3 1871 1971 in brigham city a daughter ot of mrs airs Chri christens stenz risen olsen ot of chis city aty and the late christ christian I 1 an olsen she and mr peirce were married february 11 1890 and for many years have made their home at harper mrs airs peirce was active in church work in the harper ward especially in the relief society surviving are her husband ell eli T pearce and the following song soils and daughters mrs eulalia jeppsen je epsen ot of salt lake city leonard E leslie IV and harvey C peirce and mrs hazel palmer all ot of ogden mrs birdie P I 1 cooper ot of los angeles calif arnold H and clarence C peirce ot of harper surviving also are her mother mrs christena olsen and the following brothers and sisters orson J olsen wilford olsen carlos olsen mrs airs rebecca korth mrs birdie hansen and mrs airs iva fuller all of brigham city oliver W olsen of 0 harper funeral services were held monday afternoon at 1 at the harper ward chapel under the direction ol of bishop henry yates the attendance was large and there was a wealth of offerings the me services opened with singing 1 I know my aly heavenly father knows by a quartet invocation was offered by daniel M reese and the quartet sang 0 my aly father the speakers were mrs airs daniel M 1 I reese joseph H yates fates oliver W olsen jr patriarch hyrum G smith of salt lake city bishop james olsen of college ward bishop H W r valentine and bishop henry yates between speakers the quartet sang 1 I need thee every ilour hour and as the closing number who are these arrayed in white benediction was offered by emery wight interment was at the harper cemetery bishop yates dedicating the grave |
