Show ' Hatch Happenings I By Vclma Huntington 735-4231 Mr. and Mrs. Leland Rtggs received word of the birth of a new granddaughter, Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Craw, Minersville. Mr. and Mrs. Darol Allred, j Delores Allred and Velma Hun- 1 tington attended sessions in the St. George LDS Temple Thursday. Visiting Velma Huntington and Abbie Fallis Friday was Florence Heaton, Alton. Saturday's visitor was Janet Houston, Beaver, and Sunday's visitor was Ileta Dix, Panguitch. A dinner and fund raising party was held in the cultural hall Saturday evening for Mr. and Mrs. j Nile Sawyer. On Sunday, a farewell t ! testimonial meeting was held prior to their leaving on a n LDS Mission to Des Moines, Iowa. Immediate family members visiting them were the Thomas Pirtles and the Greg Hansens, Spring City; Leo Hensen, Roy; Alma Lynn Savages, Antimony and the John Davises, Salt Lake City. Visiting Maggie Barnhurst were Bert Barnhurst, Cedar City and Ronnie Barnhurst, Nev. Mr. and Mrs, E.F. Turek went to Las Vegas to visit the E.H. Tureks. They took him to the airport, so he could go by plane to visit his only sister in Omaha, Neb. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Garth Heap were Mr. and Mrs. Ken Goulding and Sheral Sawyer, Henrieville; Cindy Sawyer, Orem; Mr. and Mrs. Todd Ballif, Bountiful; Paula Sawyer and the Dallen Sawyers, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Heap, Ivor Riggs, j Michael Heap and SheraLyn Heap, i Cedar City. Mrs. Layton Barney spent several . i days in Garfield Memorial Hospital j where she underwent minor ! surgery. Her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Barton, is here visiting. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Lowder went to Cedar City to meet Mary Beth Bailey and Mindy Bailey for lunch. Colleen Heaton held a lace party at the Lowder's on Friday. Visiting Effel Riggs were Mr. and Mrs. Bob Henderson, Orderville, and Cal Burrows, Kanab. Phillip Crofts visited Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln Crofts in Orderville Friday. On Saturday, Laretta Crofts and Annie Frehner visited in St. George. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Wooley and the Porters, Orem, were here rLee several days visiting relatives. ' Visiting the David Sawyers were the Ken Roberts, Antimony; the Kent Sawyers and the Kurt Sawyers, Cedar City and Donald Woodmancy, Ohio. Visitors with the Calvin Wilsons j were the Wilford Lanes, Page, j Ariz.; Regena Lane, Martha Lane and Manley Lane, Ariz. I Sunday evening, May Sawyer, I Jody Allred and Velma Huntington attended baptismal services in Circleville for Kenna Sue Roberts. Hope Dalton accompanied Pamela Stubbs and some of her clogging dancers to Provo for a program appearance. Faye Worthen, Panguitch, attended a Relief Society meeting Wednesday evening and gave a demonstration on clothing and skin care. Garth Workman, Cedar City, and Pete Workman, Orem, visited i relatives and reported that their brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. f Keith Workman, St. George, are r leaving for an LDS Mission to ! England. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Dalton received word that their grandson, Brandt Stubbs, Parowan, was awarded 4th place in Western In-termountain Clogging competition which was held in Pleasant Grove. Mr. and Mrs. Darol Allred and Delores Allred went to Provo to put their furniture in storage. While I there, they visited son, Lyle, at ' Brigham Young University. |
