Show Salina Auction Report April 10. 1981 SALABLE AT AUCTION 2,035 compared with 1,218 last week and 1,175 last year. Average attendance. Very good demand for feeders thin and suitable for grass. Good demand for other classes. Feeder steers and heifers under 600 lbs. 3.00-4.00 higher, over 600 lbs. 1.00-1.50 higher. Slaughter cows and bulls steady. Supply about 85 percent feeders. Sales through 4:00 p.m. with about three hours left to sell. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large Frame 1 350-400 lbs. 79.00-84.50; 400-500 lbs. 73.00-82.00,. mostly 76.00-80.00 ; 500-600 lbs. 68.00-76.50, mnostly 70.50-75.00 ; 600-800 lbs. 66.00-69.00 ; 800-920 lbs. some fleshy 62.00-67.00.
