Show Lydla Pollock Lydia Pollock TROPIC Lydia Jane Willis Pollock, 88, Tropic, died Jan. 2, 1980, in a rest home at Parowan. She was bora Jan. 3, 1891, Henrieville, to William Patterson and Mary Eliza Merrill Willis. She was married to Parley F. Pollock on August 8, 1911 in Henrieville; later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple on Sept. 28, 1922. He died Arpil 18, 1968. She served a stake mission, served as secretary of the Relief Society, MIA and Sunday School and was a Sunday School, Primary teacher and MIA teacher. Survivors: four sons, one daughter, Virgil, Adrian, Jack, Mrs. Garn (Shirley) Haycock, all Tropic; Leland P., Bryce Canyon; 31 grandchildren, 41 great -grandchildren; two brothers, two sisters; Garn, Kanab; Ivan, Escalante, Mrs. Dica Shumway, Salt Lake City, Mrs. Eda Quilter, Hanksville. Funeral services were held Jan. 5 in the Tropic LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Franz Shakespear officiating. Ivan Willis offered the family prayer and Judy Chynoweth played prelude music. Daryl Shumway offered the invocation. Speakers were Dewey Willis, Ken Goulding, President Clive Bybee with tribute by Jolene Jensen and remarks by Bishop Franz Shakespear. Music included a vocal solo by Dick Shumway, vocal trio by June Shakespear, Marion Shakespear and Leona Stewart, selection by grandchildren, and selection by Tropic Ward Choir. Garn L. Pollock offered the benediction. Burial was in the Henrieville Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield, where Garn Willis gave the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers were Leland Pollock, Gayle Lynn Pollock, Bruce Haycock, Gordon Pollock, Royce Pollock, . .Dale Pollock. Honorary pallbearers were Greg Pollock, Richard Haycock, Kerry Haycock, Dee Pollock, Joe Pollock, Jerry Pollock, Vee Pollock and William Pollock. Riley Woolsey Riley Orel Woolsey, 76, Richfield, died Jan. 6, 1980 in a care center in Richfield. He was born Dec. 22, 1903, Escalante, to James B. and EInora Young Woolsey, Jr. He married Etherl Shuntz August 25, 1923 in Farmlngton; later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple May 23, 1924. She died Feb. 14, 1936. He was a sheep herder for many years and lived in Escalante for several years. Survivors: two daughters, two sons, Mrs. Louine Beck, Richfield; Mrs. Wilford (Jean) Griffiths, Glen, both Bountiful; Clint, Fountain Green; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers and one sister, Elmo, Provo, Arden, Cedar City; Mrs. Dicy Coombs, Escalante. Funeral services were held Jan. 9 in the Richfield Third LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Don L. Naser officiating. Arden Woolsey offered the family prayer and Rae Lynn Moody played prelude and postlude music. Bruce Douglas offered the invocation. Speaker was Wayne Banks with remarks by Bishop Don L. Naser. Music included two vocal solos by Geraldine Carter accompanied by Cindy Morrill. Lavell G. Waters offered the benediction. Burial was in the Richfield City Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield, where Arden Woolsey offered the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers were members of the family. Elizabeth Eckler CIRCLEVILLE Elizabeth (Bette) Norma Klock Eckler, 57, Cir-clevule, died Jan. 7, 1980 in a Panguitch hospital. She was born Nov. 27, 1922, Dolgeville, New York, to Roy and Olive Van Burean Klock. She was married to Earl Fake; later divorced. She was married to Fay P. Eckler, Nov. 4, 1947, Dion, N.Y. She was a resident of Kennewick, Wash, where she was a bookkeeper for several years. Upon retirement, she and her husband moved to Cir-cleville where she was an active member of the Circleville First Ward. She was a Primary teacher, Relief Society visiting teacher and active in the Relief Society. Survivors: husband, Circleville; daughter, Mrs. Lance (Jef're) Danner, Kennewick, Wash.; step-daughter, Mrs. Glen (Lynda) Mosher, Little Falls, N.Y.; four grandchildren; brother, Bert Klock, Fort Plains, N.Y. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Circleville First Ward chapel. Friends may call at the chapel after 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Circleville Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield. James G. Crandall ESCALANTE James Ceroid Crandall, 81, Escalante, died Dec. 29, 1979 in a Panguitch hospital. He was born July 26, 1898, Trumbull, Ohio, to Fred and Rosa Neil Crandall. He married Margaret Perrin, later divorced. He married Miriam Jane Miller in 1937 in Yuma, Ariz. Survivors: daughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Betty) Elliott, San Marcos, Calif.; two brothers, one sister, Clifford, North Kingsville, Ohio; Irving, Long Beach, Calif.; Mrs. Lois Brugge, San Jose, Calif. Funeral services were held Jan. 3 in the Escalante LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Lynn Gates, officiating. Bishop Delane Griffin offered the family prayer and Dawn Griffin played prelude and postlude music. Melvin Alvey gave the invocation. Speaker was President Lorell Munson with tribute by Sherree Coleman and remarks by Bishop Lynn Gates. Music included a vocal duet by Bill and Dawn Griffin. Burial was in the Escalante Cemetery by Neal S.
