Show Hospital's 'Century Club' Provides Aid A growing number of individual, business and professional people in Garfield County are dedicating their efforts to guarantee outstanding health care for all citizens of the area through the active support of leading citizens, and by creating financial assistance through dues, private contributions and fund-raising social events by joining the "Century 100 Club" of the Garfield Memorial Health Care Foundation. i The goal of the recently formed organization is to have a minimum membership of at least one hundred people. With annual membership dues of $100, a minimum of $10,000 will be developed each year toward fine health care. The club meets formally once a year at an annual meeting to install its directors. Social functions sponsored throughout the year benefit the hospital and afford the members an opportunity to meet and become acquainted. Beyond the satisfaction of having contributed to fine health care in Garfield County, members in the "Century Club" enjoy additional benefits. Each member receives a "Century Club" lapel pin and in-vitations to all "Century Club" and Garfield Memorial hospital events. Membership dues are tax deductible as a charitable gift. No hospital admission deposit is required for the member or any of his dependents. |
