Show Bryce Ambulance Ready To Assist Residents CANNONVILLE - Bryce Valley ambulance is in Cannonville for quicker access to Henrieville, Cannonville and Tropic residents. Emergency Medical Technicians ( EMT) are in the valley for service to the communities. For help persons may call Howard Nielsen during the day at 679-8619 in Tropic; Joe Thompson, 679-8793, Cannonville or Guy Thompson, 679-8732 in Henrieville. Two other numbers that can be called for quick ambulance response is Garfield County Sheriff Deputy John Niemann at 679-8774 or a toll free number in Richfield, 1-800-662-5151. Other EMT's in the Bryce Valley area at the present time are Kirk Chynoweth, 679-8775; David Frost, 679-8790: or John or Claudia Niemann, 679-8774 all from Tropic, or Tom Shakespear at Kodachrome State Park, 679-8562. To help ge't other EMT's in Garfield County communities to help with emergencies there will be an EMT course held in Panguitch, February 16 through April 7 on weekends. Anyone interested in taking the course should contact Garfield County Sheriff Keith R. Fackrell to obtain applications. The course will cost $56 per individual. The EMT association of Garfield County is looking for sponsors to help make this course available to more people.
