Swimming Pool Grand Opening Slated July 4 The grand opening and dedication of the Panguitch Community Swimming Pool will be July 4 at 3 p.m. at the pool facilities adjacent to the high school gym The grand opening will give the public an opportunity to see the facilities and meet the pool staff Mayor Iee will give the welcoming address. Sheldon Jackson, pool manager, will explain the pool schedule, rules and swimming lessons to be offered laurel Holman will close the program with the dedicatory prayer Door prizes will be given. Public swimming will begin July 5 with summer swimming hours in effect Yearly passes for families and individuals are being offered at a 10 Dercent savinns until Jnlv 4th Passes and punch cards will be sold in front of the Welcome Mart on Friday, June 30, from 9 30 a m. to 4:30 p.m. Free swim for the public will be from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., July 4 Persons may sign up for lessons July I. An advanced life saving class will be held July 5 at 4 p.m and persons should sign up the same day and should bring swim suits and $20 |
