DB IT ORDAINED DY THB CITY COUNCIL OP PLEASANT GROVE, UTAH: Section 1: Thero Is hereby granted grant-ed to UTAH VALLEY GAS & COKB COMPANY, Its successors or assigns, tho right to construct, build, maintain and operate gas works In tho City ot Pleasant Grove, nnd to dig trenches nnd lay, miry and maintain therein, nnd to operate, repair and remove mains, pipes, conduits and laterals for and during tho term ot titty (60) years, from and after the aocepianco of this franchise, in, through and under nnyof the public streets, lanes, alleys avenues nnd public places of the said City as the samo now exists or may hereafter bo extended, for the purpose of distributing and supplying gas to said City and Its Inhabitants; together to-gether with the right to construct and maintain, remove and repair all necessary neces-sary regulators, valves, pipes, curb boxes, safety appliances and all necessary attachments; provided, that all mnlni, pipes, conduits or laterals shall be so laid as not to Interfere with and water or sewer pipes aa nowi laid, and provided further that all public streets, lanes, ajloys, avonues and public places' opened for the purpose pur-pose ot laying mains shell be restored restor-ed aa nearly as practicable to their former condition and to the satisfaction satis-faction of the City.
