Ray L. and Sylvia Alvey of Roy came for the Foster Perkins wedding reception and heard of the death of Aunt Nan Morrill, so stayed here at the old family home and attended the funeral services en route home. Two carloads went from here. Ron and Evan Schow and Iris Porter spent some time in Salina visiting relatives. Marie Wilson and daughter of Cedar City visited here at the Morris Shirts home. Only six people from here took advantage of the boat trip on Lake Powell, 41 went from Garfield County and all enjoyed the trip. All the glorious water really looked good to us dry land folk.
