Show Obituaries Nan Morrill Nun N. Morrill JUNCTION-Nan Nelson Haws Morrill, 79. Junction, died Nov. 4, 1977, in a Brigham City hospital following a stroke. She was born Nov. 9, 1898, Cedar City, to Bengt and Sara Hunter Nelson, Jr. She was married to Claud E. Haws, Aug. 8, 1917, Cedar City, later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple. He died March 26, 1948. She was married to McKinlay Morrill, April 4, 1949. He died Sept. 15, 1969. Survivors: sons, Dr. J. C. Haws, Brigham City; Dr. Ben F. Haws, Visalia, Calif.; stepsons, Shirl Morrill, Richfield; Max Morrill, Junction; stepdaughters, Mrs. Kermit (Gwen) Anderson, Orem; Mrs. Wayne (Helen) Hood, Salt Lake City; brother, Hunter Nelson, Cedar City; sisters, Mrs. Arch Fael' Benson, Parowan; Mrs. Leland (McNone) Perry, Provo; grandchildren; 3$ great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Monday in the Circleville First Ward chapel with Bishops Counselor Burke Barlow, officiating. J. C. Haws offered the .family prayer and PollyAnna Haws Southern played prelude and postlude music. John Haws offered the invocation. Speakers were Wanda Hawks, Shirl P. Morrill, E. D. Haws and Leland Perry. Music included ladies vocal trio, composed of Rexine Eagar, Myrtle Anderson, Shirley Anderson; selection by Chemene Frank and Kent Haws, and Kimberll, Michel e and Ann Marie Cappadonia. The benediction was by Max Morrill. Burial was in the Junction Cemetery by Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, where Ben F. Haws offered the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers were Lyle Southam, John Haws, Layne Morrill, John Riley, Stanley Morrill and Lynn Morrill. Honorary pallbearers were Max B. Morrill, Brent Morrill, Craig Morrill, Thayle Anderson, Allen Gillman, Gary Walton, Timothy Merkel, Bryant Herzog, Kirk Anderson, Terrell Thompson, Mac Thompson, David Thompson, Steven Luke, Vic Manwaring, Richard Robbins. |
