Show Panguitch Patter JantOlien7(-8082 Jaynell Bailey, St. Gorge spent the weekend along with Maxlne Crosby and Lynn and Layne Crosby in Salt Lake City. Cherrie, Charlene and Beverly Crosby spent the weekend In Hurricane with Mr. and Mm. Bill Crosby and family. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Taylor, Upland, Calif, visited Sunday with the Jay Crosby family on their way home from conference. Lois Maloney will be returning to her home in St. George for the winter. Grace McAllister spent ten days visiting Alta Rae Hansen, Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Art McAllister and family, Idaho Falls. While Grace was in Salt Lake City she went to KSL-Channcl S and met Bob Welty and watched a news broadcast. She also met all the television and radio men. Jean LeFevre has been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Norris LeFevre, Seattle, Wash., Mr. and Mrs. Douglas LeFevre, Bountiful; Mr. and Mrs. George Knighton, Inkom, Id.; Mr. and Mrs. Rex Sanberg, Logan; Mr, and Mrs. Wm. Ackerman, Juneau, Alaska. Jean will be here until after the deer hunt. Mr, and Mrs. George Dart, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Mills, Penny Mills, Joseph and Mrs. Mike Shaw and Jamie, Aurora spent Sunday with the Remo Johnson family. Mary Ann Rose and daughter, Andee, Cedar City spent Monday and part of Tuesday with the Carl Hatchs. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Davis and family spent the weekend with Vera Olsen and the Lyman Davis. Debbie Johnson spent the weekend in Salt Lake City visiting Mr. Merlin Robinson, Circleville who is In the hospital. Debbie Robinson, Glendale spent some time last weekend with Donna Johnson. Spending the weekend at the Rulon Price cabin at Panguitch Lake were: Gordon and Anna Bolton, Howard and Kaye Prince, of Bountiful and Dennis and Lynda Excell of Lehl. On Monday Bishop and Mrs. Carma Sproul of Reseda, Calif, spent the night with Carma's sister, Fay Ella Prince after attending general conference in Salt Lake City. Vera Perkins underwent surgery at the LDS Hospital recently and Is doing well. She will be coming to the Garfield Memorial Hospital at the end of the week to recuperate. A birthday party was held Sunday for Hilma Excell, at the Bruce Douglas's in Richfield. All of her family attended. Her husband, James Excell; Mr. and Mrs. Dick Excell, the Kay Englesteads, the Walley Veaters and the Greg Excells, all from Panguitch; Mr. and Mrs. Evan Crosby and family, Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Evan Excell and family, Price; the Max Exccll's. Circleville. Merle Stowell and James L and Delia Hatch went to Salt Lake City. The Hatches stayed in Salt Lake City and visited with their children, Edith Marchant. Merle, her daughter, Jeanette Stowell, Salt Lake City and her sister, Aleta Furlong, Ogden went on to Oregon to visit Merle's daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Fowler. The Doug Buminghams, Clay and Jenean Burningham went to California last week where they visited such places as Disneyland, Marine Land, Knottsberry Farm and other places. Frank and Gwen Orten and Mr. and Mrs. Mayo Riggs went to Salt Lake City to attend the funeral services for Seals Riggs. While there the Ortons visited their son. Bob and family. Mrs. Hilda Gardner has been brought off her mission and Is in the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City. Correction Is to be made: Mr. and Mrs. Vee Bruhn took her mother, Laretta Yardley to Salt Lake City to be operated on. Mr. and Mrs. James Yardley went up and brought her to the Garfield Memorial Hospital to recuperate. Also at the Garfield Memorial Hospital is Walt Daly. He Is not feeling very well. Mrs. Ingra Richards spent two days at the Bryce Canyon Postoffice, helping to get it closed for the season and also to work for Mrs. John Ruech while she attended her mother's funeral. Sand and Roger Hill went to Salt Lake City where they picked up their volkswagon bus. Some of the families attending UEA from Panguitch were the Ray Englesteads, the Maloy Dodds, Donna Peterson and the Grand Houstons. Vee and Rama Bruhn spent the weekend at Grand Canyon for her birthday trip. Dr. and Mrs. Sims Duggins have moved to Nevada for the winter. |
