Show Escalante Woman Named Regional PTA Director The Utah Congress PTA board of managers appointed a new PTA regional director for the Garfield Kane Region 17. She is Mrs. Charles W, Orrett, Escalante. Mrs. Orrett was born in Salt Lake City, raised in California and returned to Utah three years ago to Escalante. She and her husband are the parents of five children. She was a professional saleswoman while in California. Her hobbies now include gardening and handwork, Mrs. Orrett has spent many years involved in PTA work and as a Regional Director will be a member of the State Board of Managers of the Utah Congress of Parents and Teachers. She will be working closely with the council and local unit Beverly OrrtU presidents in the Garfield Kane area to help with leadership training and programming. During her term of office, she will place special emphasis on PTA unity and community involvement in PTA. |
