A former resident, Mack Barney is In the University hospital in Salt Lake City recovering from an Injury received while fixing some heavy equipment. A bolt hit him between the eyes imbedding itself in his skull, he was on the critical list for a week but Is getting better. Jo and the tiny baby went with him and Grace Barney and Renee Osborn looked after the other kids. Andrew Spencer had to go back to the hospital to get some help with his breathing. Clyde Spencer was also having some problems. The Marvin Mounteers had all of their family home for the long weekend, Peggy and Marva and a friend, Sharon Carnahan came from Salt Lake City, Jerry and Beverly from Cedar City, Paul and family from Springville. Zola Roundy and wife . of Orem visited relatives here. Jerry Roundy of Rexburg, Idaho was here for the weekend. He told us about that ' flood, he was one of the lucky ones situated on high ground Idella Imlay had Barbara and family here while Francis went on a long haul. Sharee Coleman went to St. George for a job interview and got word she had a Job at the Dixie hospital. Cook Liston had Lee and Barbara, Marilyn and David Griffin and son for the weekend. Ivan and Nelda Willis had El wood and family home and they all went to Tropic reservoir for a reunion, there were (2 present. Annette McCool and 2 boys came from California to visit at the Chase Shurtz home. Helen Joined them for a trip to Salt Lake City where Sara Cowles came from Rock Springs, Wyo. to visit Marion Mills, then Sara and son came home with them for an extended visit. The Edson Alveys had Dee and Arvonne Whittaker and 4 daughters from Washington, Utah. Lewis Griffin and part of his family were at the Lorenzo Griffins. The Randal Lymans had Jim and Deanna Greer and family of Tremonton. Wavie and Ralph Siple from Idaho visited Wallace Roundy and other relatives. Betty Schow and daughter ' Jerrilyn came from Salt Lake City to see about getting carpets laid in their home here which they rented to the new high school principal. Bud and Joy Gates were here helping harvey Dean build a porch onto his trailer house. The Heaps brothers, ' Mont and Lon were here during the week visiting friends and relatives. The Gary Fontaines have a new son making 2 of each. They are living in Vernal and In the same ward as Kay Gates. Ella Marie Beyhn and La Hue Spencer made a trip to Salt Lake City. Haws Porter of Provo visited his parents, Rol and Mina. The Robert Lis tons had daughter Jan and a friend, Steve Hacken here from Canada. Alice Griffin, daughter Joan and family visited relatives here. Rick and Helen Pruitt of Cedar City were at the Melvin Alveys. Lois Houston and baby visited the Stan Listens. Starns Mecham and family went to Cedar City to meet son Ron and family of Las Vegas nd visit the weekend. In sacrament meeting Rex Lawrence was released as counselor to Bishop Marsh and Myron Cottam was sustained In the position. The small daughter of Lynn and Rhonda Button was christened by the proud father and given the name of DanyeU. Lael and Sharee Spencer visited the Mait Spencers.
