Show Panguitch Patter Nettie Dowdell 676-8863 All correspondence news must be In Monday at noon, Mrs. DeUis LeFevre was visited by son, Grant and Darline LeFevre from St. George over the weekend. Rhctt Spencer, son of Francis and Carol Ann Spencer, Riverdale, Utah was a member of the Bonneville Marching Band of Ogden, which performed here last week. He visited grandparents, Vernon and Iletta Reid and was a guest at the home, of Kirk, Lavenda More and family. The band members were enroute to Disneyland to participate In a parade and festivities. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Keller, Price, reports their son Robert Keller is going on a mission to Italy, He's the grandson of Mrs. Florence Houston. Mr, and Mrs. Ted Chidester reports they have a new baby girl, born the 23 of May. They live in Bloomlngton, Ind. Proud grandparents are Loris and Hilda Chidester and Wallace and Billy Miller of Panguitch. Mrs. Mary Reid was visited by Clark and Lou Delong, Moab. They also visited many of their friends. Mrs. Florence McEwen is going to Salt Lake City to be with her granddaughter, Martha McEwen who Is getting married in the LDS Temple. She is the daughter of Douglas and Barbara McEwen. Mrs. Bessie Talbot enjoyed a visit from her sister, Myrtle Wright from Calif, and her son, George and Addle Talbot, Nevada. Addie is feeling much better since her surgery. Mr. and Mrs. PhiU Dickenson attended the graduation of their son-in-law, Kirkman Mitchell, in Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sargent are home again at Panguitch from their home in Washington. They wiU spend the summer here. Bruce and Lois Houston are here to see their folks and show off their new baby boy. They live In Salt Lake dry. Camille Farnsworth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phil Farnsworth, Richland, Wash, and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. LeGrand Farnsworth and Mrs. Cleste Talbot, Panguitch was recently selected Outstanding Junior at Hanford High School in Richland. The selection was based on scholastic achievement, (Camille has a perfect 4.0 average), extracurricular acitivlties (Camille is a member of the Hanford Swing Choir, and is active in Drama and student govemement) and community service (Camille is a member and next year's president of spades, a youth community service club, is acUve in LDS Church youth organization and works part time at Safeways. Out of town guests at the WiUiam Kay home over the weekend were, Lorena and Joe Decker, Anaheim, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Richens, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Wade Conwell and Mrs. Roxanna Stevens, Grand Junction, Colo., and families. Out of town visiters at the Mayo Riggs home were Richard Hooper, Lakewood, Colo; Ken and Shiela Hutchinson, Denver, Colo; Silas and NeUie Crosby, Granger; Mr. and Mrs. Don Caldwell, Mrs. Donna Watts, Dewain LeFevre, Mrs. Alta Rae McAllister, Heidi Downward, Salt Lake City; and George and Kay Cherrington, Orem. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Sanford, Delta, visited the Brown San-fords. Also visiting were Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wind, Hurrican; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Miller and Cleo Whicker, Delta. |
