Show Dr. Lappe Completing Panguitch Commitment After serving the Garfield residents for the past year Dr. Donald Lapee is leaving next week for cardiology fellowship at John's Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Md. . ..Dr. Lappe signed. up for the. course several years ago and has a three year commitment during which time he will do clinical cardiology and also do research in that same field. "I have been lucky to have come to such a good town," Dr. Lappe stated. "The people are great, it is a good hospital system, the physicians are great to work with." He further stated that he was sorry he won't be able to take care of his patients but that they will be taken care of by the present doctors at the hospital and by the new doctor coming August 1 of this year. There will be an open house at the James 'Yardley hom Sunday from i to 6 p.m. The new doctor coming' August 1 is, Dr. Gene Reames from Los Angeles, where he is now doing general practice. Dr. Reames graduated from the University of Tennessee Medical School and did his internship at the Los Angeles County Hospital. He married the former Kathy Leab. He. win stay here for at least two years. |
