Show - Tropic Topics - Ella Adair Correspondent A stork shower was held for Norma Chlarson Wednesday in the Relief Society room. The Roy Chlarsons have Roy's mother, from Sholoh, Ariz., visiting with them. The Wallace Otts have returned home after visiting in Louisiana. Ferrell Brinkerhoff spent a few days in the Panguitch Hospital recovering from pneumonia. Kim Alvey, Kowan Ott and Kerry Haycock were In Provo over the weekend making plans to attend school next fall. Larry Adair was in Salt Lake City on business the fore part of the week. George and Nell Wilson have received an LDS mission call to the Gulf States. They will leave March 15. Bryce Valley Rodeo Club officers and Mayo Rich, advisor, attended a Rodeo Club meeting in Richfield Saturday. James Munson was home for the weekend. He is working on a home in Capitol Reef Monument. Jane Sudweeks enjoyed a visit from her daughter Dellis over the weekend. Sharon Kay Wintch was home from college Saturday and Sunday. Ruth Baugh was pleasantly surprised Friday when her sister Beth and family from California came and spent the night with her. Cheri Feltner's sister, Shauna, and children from Arizona, are visiting with her. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Willis were in Salt Lake City during the week. Fae Ott spent two days in Cedar City on business, and visited her son and daughters while there. Jan. 29 a Food Storage program was presented to the people In Tropic. A Senior Citizens party was held Wednesday evening in the school. Katie Thomas was released from the MIA. Carol Stewart and Margaret M. Mecham from the Sunday School. Shirley Haycock, Afton Pollock and Margie Mecham were sustained as workers in the MIA and Sunday School. |
