Show Hatch Happenings Reva I-owder ftS-4203 Jesse and Lilith Wilson were happy to have eleven of their thirteen children home for several days. They were here for the missionary party Saturday evening. Sunday they held a family dinner In the cultural hall with 56 family members present. Those present were the Russell and the Richard Wilsons, St. George; Virginia Wilson and the Lyle Davis; Mr. and Mrs. Bill Dodge, Salt Lake City, Toni Potter and the Wayne Wilsons, Provo, the Kent Wilsons, Scottsdale, Ariz.; the Hugh Wilsons, Las Vegas; the Karl Wilsons, West Jordon; and the Mel Wilkes, Boise, Ida. Speakers In sacrament meeting were members of the Wilson family: Kay Wilson, Mel and Hcllen Wilkes. Carolyn Wilson talked prior to her mission call to Uruguay and Robert Wilson gave his mission report from his English mission. Special songs were by Letitia Henderson and neices and nephews of Carolyn and Robert. Mr & Mrs. Bruce Dalton and children went to Milf ord Friday night and joined Mr. and Mrs. John Bailey and Kenneth. Saturday and Sunday they all visited in Las Vegas with the Dennis Daltons. Monday they went on to San Diego, Calif, to attend a cousin's wedding. They will tour So. California the rest of the week visiting Disneyland and other places of interest. The fathers and sons of our ward held an outing Friday night and Saturday at Lake Powell. Forgot to mention last week that Lamar Barney met son, Elder Kenneth Barney at Salt Lake airport last week after he had spent the past two years on an LDS mission in Sweden. He will give his mission report Sunday, May 23, at 2 p.m. Word was received here by relatives of the death of one of our former town members, Burns Ellison. He was born and raised here and was 62 years old. He was burried in a Salt Lake City cemetary. Mr. and Mrs. John Mecham of Tropic visited the Oliver Huntingtons Wed. Gai and Ralph Wilcock of Panguitch visited the Oliver Huntingtons the first of last week. Sunday night they stayed with Hope Dalton. The Grant Daltons came for the weekend. Visiting over the weekend were Pamela and Brandt Stubbs and Burk Childers of Parowan. Margie Prince received word that her sister in California was in a hospital there following a heart attack so Howard took Margie to Cedar City where she took a bus to California to visit her sister. Michelle Stephenson visited over the weekend in Kanab with the Duke Aikens. i Mr. and Mrs. Clark L. Evans j and children have moved here I from Wellington. They will live in the Doyle Hancock trailer house. The Bill Ducketts spent several days last week in Salt Lake City. The David Sawyers visited in Cedar City Saturday. Sunday the Dunk Findlays of Kanab visited the Sawyers, then they went to Tropic to visit the Roy Shakespears. Al Wilhelm and Austin Barnhurst of Las Vegas visited their folks during the weekend, Austin took his 73 year old mother, Maggie Barnhurst for a ride on his motorcycle to the divide and back. Diane and Ethel York are visiting for a week In California with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Runyon of LaCrescenta, Calif, arrived here during the past week to get their trailer house fixed up for the summer. Jesse Wilson of Hurricane viwt tn town Saturday. Lil Jourden visited last week in Calfornia with Joe and also her son and his family. The Primary Merrl Miss class with teacher, Rose Elaine Deuel held a party for their mothers Saturday in the cultural hall. Reva Lowder and Idonna Deuel visited the Vay Sawyers in Kanab Friday. Dale Porter of Duchesne visited in town during the week and Janice Riga of Cedar City visited her folks, the Lrtand Riggs over the weekend. Visitors in Cedar City were Mrs. Lamar Barney and family, Carta Sawyer and children. Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Sawyer and the La Val Sawyers visited the Vay Sawyers in Kanab. Verla Sawyer came back with her grandparents to visit this week Mr. and Mrs. Orlar Rlggs I went to Salt Lake City during the week where Esteita had a check up with her doctor there.
