Show Middle School Will Host Satellite TV Program Series For West States Panguitch Middle School students and their teachers Mr. Earl Roe and Mrs. Carol Hatch will host a TV special to the STD Series to be telecast May 16. They have been busy gathering information and pictures about Garfield County. They will be concentrating on some of the interesting oc cupations on this countv, including the sawmill; Panguitch Lake and some of the resorts; Bryce Canyon; Walsh's An-Tique Shop and Art Gallery; Billy Frandsen, Panguitch's own trapper; sheep and cattle business, the building trade and Dennis Crocker. Dennis has been in Garfield County for the past 3 years studying the habits of prairie dogs. He has studied so intensely that he has been accepted into the circle when the dogs have their nightly ritual. The day of the program, the STD students and teachers from Panguitch Middle School will go to Enterprise, where a two-way unit is set up Their plans at the present time is to give a 15 minute slide presentation and spend 15 minutes in interaction, a period where stud, its from other parts of the western states will directly ask questions and the students from Panguitch will answer these qrestions live on the program Mrs. Carol Hatch takes a picture of Kellle Walsh, standing program.
