Show i Hatch Happenings RevaLowder- Missed last week that Floriene Barney took her daughter, Joyce Gordon to Salt Lake City to meet Vic and then took them on to their home In Roosevelt Floriene stopped In Orem and' brought her mother, Elizabeth Barton here with her until she could go to her home In Tropic. , Layton Barney took Bruce Dalton and they Joined Vernon Holman, Bountiful, and Laurel and Wayne Holman, Panguitch, and went fishing on Lake Powell, Ricky Holman of Panguitch visited with the Barneys Sunday, Gal and Ralph Wllcock of Panguitch were guests of the Oliver Huntlngtons. Mr. and Mrs. Al Wllhelm visited In Salt Lake City during the week. Saturday, his brother, Murray Wilhelm and family of Nevada, visited them. Visiting Maggie Barnhurst were Merlin Barnhurst, Reginia Eastman and Collette Walton of Salt Lake City. Saturday, her brother, Owen Sanders of Hurricane visited. Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Rose of Henrieville, visited Friday with Effel Riggs. Mrs. Bruce Dalton and children went to Milford when her father, John Bailey came for his wife. Sunday, Bruce went to Milford and brought his family home. Grant Dalton came from his job for the weekend. He stopped in Parowan and brought Hope home. Vaughn Evans spent a few days home from his job in Las Vegas. When he returned to Las Vegas Sunday afternoon, Hope accompanied him and will visit the Dennis Daltons this week, Wilford Lane brought his family from their home in Page to visit her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Orlas Riggs went to Salt Lake City. Estella entered the LDS Hospital there where she underwent major surgery. Orlas visited his children, the Duard Riggs and the Leslie Footes until Friday when he returned home. From last reports Estella was doing as well as could be expected. The David Sawyers were business visitors in Cedar City Saturday. Sunday visitors with them were the Kerry Sawyers of Las Vegas. The Max Burrows of Fredonia, visited at the Karl Lowders. Sunday evening Karl took Reva and Laretta to Kanab. Word was received by the La Mar Barneys of a grand- 735-4201 daughter. She arrived In a Phoenix hospital to Bruce and Larraine Marble. Mrs. Barney and Lewis are there visiting the Marbles and helping with the baby. Word was received by relatives that Jesse WUaon is still In the St George Hospital following minor surgery and a bout with pneumonia. From last reports she was feeling a little better. The Relief Society held their birthday party Thursday evening in the Cultural Hall. A large percent of our ward attended stake conference In Panguitch Sunday morning. Speakers In sacrament meeting were Lucille and Wiley Huntington. Mrs. Nile Sawyer took son Ricky to Las Vegas "where he took a plane back to his naval 'base. Mrs. Lynn Evans came home Saturday from Spanish Fork where she stayed with the Merrill Clarks. Her mother, Sessie Clark Is in the Utah Valley Hospital following eye surgery. Mrs. Clark accompanied Mrs. Evans home and stayed until Sunday afternoon when the Merrill Clarks came from visiting In Or-derville and took her to Spanish Fork. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Gleave of Monroe and Sam Aiken of Cedar City, visited the Orlin Frehners. Mike Evans took Christine and baby to Las Vegas. From there they will got to Vac-cavllle, Calif., to visit her folks the Kris Quigleys. |
