Show Hatch Happenings Reva Lowdrr The wedding and reception of Valeene and Ken Roberts was well attended by relatives and friends from neighboring towns and local folks. They plan to make their home In Antimony. Visiting several days here were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Woodmancy of WWttler, Calif. They came to attend the wedding. Mr. and Mrs. David Sawyer had a wedding dinner at their home for relatives. The Kerry Sawyers of Las Vegas, visited Ms folks for a few days. They came tor his sister's wedding. The Deloy Evans of Las Vegas, visited several days with his folks, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Evans. Mr. and Mrs. Garth Heap visited overnight Friday In Cedar City with son, Bishop Don Heap and family. Saturday, JoAnne Sawyer and family visited them and attended the wedding. I Bishop and Mrs. Mervln Barnhurst and Infant daughter visited several days in Salt Lake City. The three older rirU stayed with grandparents, the Eric Barnhursts. The Karl Lowders visited in Cedar City Thursday and again on Saturday with Mr. Verdi Slack. I donna and Rose Elaine Deuel were also in Cedar City Saturday. Mrs. Vay Sawyer and girls of Kanab visited in town Sunday. Mrs. Zelma Johnson and children of Orderville, visited Maggie Barnhurst Sunday. Visiting her the first of last week were Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Barnhurst of Salt Lake City, and Wednesday her brother, Owen Sanders visited her. The Wilford Lanes of Page, Ariz., visited the Calvin Wilsons then they went to Provo to the ballgames and left their three children here over the weekend. Visitors Friday and Saturday at the Jesse Wilsons were the Richard Wilsons of St George. Lynn Smith of Panguitch, visited Sunday with the Al Williams. The Leland Riggs and family and Effel Riggs spent Saturday in Salt Lake City visiting and shopping. A Kitchenware party was held Friday at the home of Wanda Frehner. Mrs. Merle Stowell of the Stake Sunday School visited our Sunday School Sunday. Speakers in sacrament meeting were Doris and Janell Barney, Ardell Riggs, Ramon Porter, Bishop Mervln Barnhurst and Michelle Riggs. A special musical number was a piano solo by Sam Riggs. The Bruce Daltons visited several days in Salt Lake City. - Abbie Fallis. left' Tuesday with the Bob Hendersons to visit in Salt Lake City a few days then she will go on to Fallon, Nev., to stay with the Arvil Fallis for the winter. |
