Show Panguitch Kern Williamson and Ar lene daughter of the Bernard Henries, have returned from a nine-day trip to the Hawaiian Islands where Kern represented the intermountain states at a leadership conference sponsored by the National Association of Juvenile Justices. Sally Heaton and Arlene Williamson and their two boys are visiting their parents the Bernard Henries this week. Sally's husband, Chad, is now in Fort Lee, Virginia, for his two weeks Army reserve summer camp. Chad is the company commanding officer of the Provo reserve unit. People attending the graduation at Utah State University last week were: Mr. and Mrs. Dee Houston, Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Heaton and family, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Jensen, Mr. and Mrs. John Houston. The graduates were, Catherine, Frank David and Carol. Hilda Gardner, Mr. and Mrs. Phil Dickinson attended Harry J's graduation Friday June 7th in Salt Lake City. Hilda Gardner, Edra Miller, and Ingra Richards attended the Business and Professional Women's Club State Conven- tion In Salt Lake City June 7, 8 and 9. Edra Is the new president of thd club for the coming year. Edna Clarke spent the week end in Salt Lake City with her son Michael who is working this summer at the Oak Crest Gaidens. Mary and Frank Richards are spending two weeks at the home of Ingra Richards. Mr. and Mrs. Don Henrie and family from Pleasant Grove attended Linda's graduation. Mack Joined them for the weekend and they attended graduation exercises at SUSC where both Helen and Ron received degrees in Business Administration. Helen graduated with honors, and Ron was selected as one of the outstanding students In the Business field. He has been admitted to the BYU Law School and will attend on an acedemlc-renewable scholarship when classes begin on August 26th. Rhonda Donleavy from Salt Lake City has been here visiting her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. William Proctor for a few days. Dee and Dorothy Houston went to Logan for the graduation of sons Frank and David and Carol. Davil's wife. Visiting with Edra Miller over tho Memorial weekend were Vane and Utana Sandln, from Henderson, Nevada. James and Marjorle Robinson and their daughter Pam from Carson City, Nevada. Visiting the Bo-yco Trumans for tho opening , of fishing were Ronald and Go-Ida Orton and children. 4 Louise Englestcad and Ingra 4 Richards attended the gradua 4 tlon exercises at Parowan 4 High School. Mary Susan Foy and friend cae down for Caroline's graduation. Also a guest of the Foy home for the graduation was Elizabeth's sister Susan Wcag-el. Amelia Woodard Is back home after receiving medical treatment at Bait Lake City. Janet Dodds Is working at tho Lodge at Tlryce Canyon. Florence McEwen has returned home after spending the win-ter in California. Lcatha Moore Is home after spending several davs In the horpltal. Clarence and Hazel Cameron are back after spending a few weeks at Mesa, Arizona. |
