Show HF.NRIEVBLLE (From 6-6-74) Mildred Deuel, Vai and Sa-repta Jennings of Price and O-mer and Cecil Reid of Spring-vllle visited with the Layton Smiths. Visiting the Smths for Eds graduation from High School were Mildred Deuel, Rett and Christine Shakespear and children from Cedar City. Rett Shakespear was sustained as Bishop of the 6th Ward in Cedar City on May 26th. JaAnn Smith went back with the Shakespears to visit for a few days. Speakers in Sacrament Meeting on May 26th were Glen Qullter, Melvin Qu-liter and Daryl Shumway who also sang a song. Ed and Dorothy Llttlefield and Wayne, Barbara and Brett Reynolds visited the Jim Smiths to attend graduation exercises for Jim. Visiting at the Ken Gould-Ing home were Ernie and Wy-nona Henderson and family, Dave and Kathryn Pollock and sons. Dick Gouldlng Is home from SUSC at Cedar City. Visiting at the Leland Griffin home were Varis Slmklns of Evan? and part of their family from Salt Lake Citv: and Lola Gibson and son Merlin and grandson Bradon Hansen from Hurricane. Leland and Berthene Griffin met the following family members one day for visiting: Shelley and Wade Barney of Escalants; Monte Ethel and Vernon Griffin of Esca'ante; and the Vernllo Griffin famllv of Salt Lake Citv Bob and H'!n Willi have r-nved here from Hawthorne, Nevada, Tev own the home that was hit parents Sears end Fern Willis. (eontlnuii) HENRIEVILLE (continued) On May 25th Carolyn and Lynn Davios brought her mother Virginia Smitn home after a months visit in California. On May 27th all eight of Virgin-io's children were at her homo visiting. They came from near and far to attend the High School homecoming held in Tropic: Gloria came from Reno; Jane and Connie, Henrieville; Ada from Cannonville; Dar, St. George; Carolyn from California; Marilyn from Ohio, and In- e-z from Sandy, Utah. Also visiting were three sons-in-law, two daughters In - law, nineteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and a friend of Glorias. Next day came word of the fatat highway accident ol Virginia's nephew Marlln Chris-tenscn at Ft. Green, Utah. She traveled with ined and Ivan there and later returned homo with Geoige and Ada Thompson. Lizzie Daugh and Mary and Wade Chynowcth had tho following relatives visiting for the school reunion and for Memorial holiday: Wendell and De-lenc Uttleficld; Rex and Vie-ma Palmer, Russell, Billie and Mike; Randy and Janice Kapp; Larry and Shirley Taylor; Mrs. Lyle (Sherrll) Loveland, son Kelly K. and daughter Chass; Connie and Kathy Taylor; Beatrice, Lorcl, Norman and Ricky Barton; and Lynda Barton. Tho Glan and Melvin Quiltcr families were here for Memorial weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Daryl Shumway and family at tho Minnie Smith home for the holiday. Reva C. Rassmusson and family at the Eda Quilter home. Vce Smith, Jed and Garntl Smith at the Lee Smith home. Alta Rae Hansen and Terrie McAllister visited here. Alta Rae also attendedthe school reunion at Tropic. Elmo Bushnells sister Mildred and Glen Porter visited at the Bushnell home. Kay and Maggie Willis have had their two grandsons here staying with them. Maude Wheatley and Gar-da Davics and Lavlna Chynowcth visited Ruby Moore. Lavlna and some of here family visited relatives Memorial hoiiday. |
