Show PANGUITCH Visiting Sunday at Hope Gouldings and other relatives were Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Cosson and two children of Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Royden Slade and family of Illinois spent a few days camped at the white bridge with Mr. and Mrs. J. Ray Slade. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Walker. Mr. and Mrs. Dee Alexander of Provo have been visiting with his brother Archie Alexander for the past month and all enjoyed touring local scenic sites and the good fishing. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Rlggs were happy to have their family home for the wedding of their daughter, Pam. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Rlggs and two sons, Jody and Tony, of Bellevue, Nebraska, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Riggs and son, Chad, of Jacksonville, Florida. Dave and Judy Finlinson and six children attended the wedding and stayed a few days at the Riggs home. Frank and Mary Dalley and Mrs. Elna Fox also attended the wedding. Visitors over the 24th weekend at the Frank Orton home included Hazel and Clarence Cameron of Mesa, Arlene and Randy Bunker of Mesa, Bob and Joy Orton and four children of Salt Lake, Kaye and Gene Owens and two sons also visited at the Kern Owens home, Carolyn and Dave Thomas of Salt Lake, and Fern and Rick Morris also of Salt Lake. Mrs. Mildred Rlggs returned to Salt Lake with the Ortons where she will spend a few weeks. Visiting at the Leonard and Vera Wllcock home were daughter Ira Lou Richardson, husband Mike and two girls of Las Vegas; daughter Meta Jane Whlttaker and three girls of Circleville, son Roy and friend Gall Twltchell of Cedar City; Ned and Mary Richards and Kay and Ann Richards and children'spent thethTof July Holiday with their mother, Mrs. Ingra Richards. Kay, Ann and family spent the past week here enjoying fishing, horseback riding and visiting with friends and relatives. They returned to their home In Salt Lake City Monday. Tom Marshall and family are vacationing at his dad W. Earl Marshall's cabin at Panguitch Lake and enjoying the fishing. Don Marshall and family of Provo, stayed with his parents the W. Earl Marshalls while putting on his art exhibit here'. They left for El Monte, California where her dad Is 111. From there they expected to go on to Hawaii where they have many friends. Visiting Emma Houston over the 24th Holiday week-end were Wayne and Ramona Houston of Costa Mesa, California, and Gilbert and Barbara Mitchell and family of Cedar City. Kathleen Shumway and children of Upland, California visited at the Jay Crosby home. They had taken Mr. and Mrs. Amos Shumway back to Salt Lake after a visit In California. Mrs. Elfa Tebbs was hospitalized Tuesday with a broken right wrist. Their daughter, Myrtle Prince Is here from Provo helping take care of things. Grace McAllister and Linda McAllister made a weekend trip to Salt Lake City. The Denny Linfords and the Archie Talbots have a new granddaughter born to Roger and Loretta LInford on July 31. The baby has a little sister. Grandson Bobbie Burton, son of-' Ron and Ree Burton of Roundup, Montana, is visiting his grandparents the Lyman Davises. His parents will come here for the bow hunt on August 10th and visit for a while before taking him home. Vicki and Jim Burton and baby Jeff of Roundup spent a week at the Rollle Allen home. Grace Young and her mother Bell Cooper went to Cedar City Sunday to help Grace's daughter, Annette (Mrs. Linden Hatch) pack to move to St. George where Linden has accepted a better position. Mr. and Mrs. James L. Hatch had a surprise visit from their son Dr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hatch and family, Jill, Shelly, Jeffe-ry and Karan from Seattle. They enjoyed the 24th of July Rodeo and spent some time at tho Mammoth Ranch. Their oldest son Kenneth is in France on an L.D.S. mission. Ted and Delia Farnswcrth and two sons Steve and Ricky spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. James L. Hatch in town and at their Mammoth ranch. Elder Thomas Lund, grandson of Thomas and Dempster Davies is serving a mission In North Carolina. Address P.O. Box 1155, Kingston, North Carolina. Susan Lund is at Hill Cumorah taking part in the L. D. S. Pageant. She was chosen from the students at Utah State University. Mary Lund was a recent graduate with honors in special education. Completing her education on scholarships, also with a special certificate in Institute. Foster Da-vies is their uncle. Algle and Ambrose Myers, Jim and Delia Hatch, Houston and Mae Hatch Vee and Geo Hatch are brothers and sisters of their grandmother. |
