Show Hotch Happenings BY REVA LOWDER Word was received by the Orson Barnhursts of a new great grandson born July 30 to Corral and John Grieves at Las Vegas. Other relatives attending the Barnhurst reunion last week that were omitted were Mrs. Ada J. Barnhurst, the Leslie; Joe; Bob Barnhursts and sister Yvonne and her family, the Robert Eddys, all of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Laura Pendleton and daughter Ada Ann and family and Don Pendleton, all of St. George. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Sawyer and family went to Northern California and toured through Nevada last week instead of Yellowstone Park. Mrs. Don Woodmancy went to Salt Lake City Friday to meet Don at the Air Port. They visited the David Sawyers and attended her brother Kerry's wedding. They left Saturday evening for their new home near Denver, Colorado. Other visitors during the week at the Sawyers were the Roy Shakespears of Tropic, Kevin Shakespear home on furlough from the air force, the Tom Shakespears of Parowan, Mrs. Rho-ana Findlay of Kanab, Mrs. Robert Palmer and two boys of Nevada, the Melvln Millers of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Wooley and Mrs. Clara Wooley of Orem. A large . number of local folks attended the wedding reception of Kerry and Marsha Sawyer in Panguitch Saturday evening. The newly weds left for Southern California on their honeymoon. Mr. and Mrs. Deloy Evans of Las Vegas visited his folks the Lynn Evans. Steven Qulgley and Dan Lopez of Vacaville, California, visited the Gale Wilcocks several days last week. The Chris Qulgleys left for their home In California after visiting about ten days with the Wilcocks. David Berg of Las Vegas visited them last week. Sunday visitors were Marve Fuller and sop of Salt Lake City and the Max Burrows of Fredonia. Visiting the Wiley Hunting-tons were the Lowell Hunting-tons of Kanab, the Stanley Huntingtons of Cedar and the Mac Julanders of Panguitch. The Don Allreds of Burbank, California, visited last week with the Oliver Huntingtons and the Darol Allreds. The Allreds all left Monday for their respective homes. Other visitors with them were the Garn Huntingtons, Rebecca Huntington and Wayne Nelson of St. George. Barbara stayed with her grand parents last week then went home with her parents. The Pat Dlx family, the Fred Houstons and Mrs. Ron Rlggs all visited them Sunday. The Keith Workmans, the Don and the Wallace Heaps, and the Ron Sawyers of Cedar visited relatives here. Hope Dalton accompanied Dee Roundy and Shannon Clark to Las Vegas Wednesday, then Grant, Bruce and Bonnie Dalton and Gib Clark went to Las Vegas i or the weekend. Speakers in meeting Sunday were Lloyd, Beth and Darol Alfred, a special song by Diane Haney. Visiting the Eric Barnhursts over the weekend were Kenneth Barnhurst and a friend (continued on back page) HATCH (continued from front sage) from Provo. , Mrs. Ivor Riggs took a group of young folks to the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City for a musical program. |
