Shlrlee Spencer is still having Incision problems, Verge took her back to Panguitch Saturday to the doctor. Robert Haws Is here rather shak-en, ho was enrouto from Las Vegas and had a wreck in Mesqulte. Kathy Schow was with him and it was lucky he was among friends, as Danny Spencer made up what he lacked in paying his fine, gavo him room and board overnight then brought him home, Lolt and Kathy came also. They took Krlstlno Alvey back to get a Job. Always miss something. Jan Liston, Stan's Jan, has been on crutches some time healing up a broken foot, it seems she missed the last step. They could not cast It as she had problems wtih blood clots so it is wrapped and she carries it. Blake and Betty Schow and daughter Jalene of Salt Lake City visited Mike Schow and other relatives, Mike passed his 85th birthday anniversary and is in fair health, his knees seem to give him the most trouble. He is the oldest man in town, there are several women older. A big van came in to move the belongings of Ray and Lois Barney last week, Lois and the kids met Ray in Salt Lake City and they came back for a visit. They did not move their trailer house, would rather sell it as it is hard on them to move so much. Caroline Barney was sustained as president of the YL-MIA with Mattle Hakes and Susan Wilson as counselors, Leah Putton and LaRue Spencer stayed In as secretaries. They will not reorganize the PTA now, Rula Spencer as vice pres. and Marie Porter as secretary will finish out tho year. It seems that of late Tho Buckskin has become a favorite recreation center for some of our mature citizens and others who are not so mature. Uher and Eva Spencer went to Richfield where she wan hospitalized overnight. The Primary held their annual Daddy and daughter night under the direction of Norma Mitchell and Yukon Norman. It seemed that If the girls own dad was away It was permissable to take someone else, they had an enjoyable time. Carl and Liz Yardley of Pangultch visited here enroute to Bull Frog. Other Bull Frog visitors were Earl and Nethcl-la Woolsey, Wanles and Dcna Alvey, they went to do some fishing. Kent and Thyllls Mc-Inelly and family spent the weekend here. Bill and Sharon Francisco and family visited at the Mildred Adair home. Ott and Hilda Roundy spent the weekend in Monroe, Ott is sporting a beautiful shiner, the Alvey boys were accused of hitting him but he met a trood sized rock as it came ' from the ledge they were sloping in the Calf Creek area. Debbie Chynoweth and Annette Vidrlne were home from Cedar City for the weekend. Kent Cottam also visited hU parents, the Vic Cottams. Ills wife Laura came as far as Tropic with Bonnie Smith and -son Robert and went back with him. Bonnie cut her visit short as Robert developed a fever so she took him back to Cedar to the doctor. Holbert Is In Provo holding his own. Coleen and Glen Imlay of Ka-nosh visited briefly with the Frank Imlays and the Daniel Cowles. Donald Spencer has moved his trailer house from Gillete, Wyoming back on the lot where he had It before. Tim Glave, a fifteen year old boy from Phoenix, Arizona, is living at the Darrell Alvey home, attending high school and helping the Alveys train horses. The Riding Club went to the race track to dig the footings to build some new stables, getting ready for the race meet to be held in May. Sunday visitors from Cedar City at the Beaumont Griffin home were Phoebe Ray and two children and Mrs. Bobette Ray. A committee here is trying to organize a reunion for people who attended the local high school as classes 51-52 and 53 and they lack addresses, if you belong to any of these groups get in touch with Deon Alvey here for information, or at least send your address to her. Glen Lucllcn, Arils Brooks, Reeves Baker and James Alvey were those we heard of attending a meeting in the Pangultch court house last Thursday. Anthony, Dot, and Vard Coombs came from Boulder joining mc and the S. J. Alveys for a trip to Pangultch for checkups, Anthony just went to drive and Vard for the ride. Barry Bornson went to Kanab on Garkane business. The cattle association held a meeting here. Our ball boys played In Tropic and beat both games.
