Show Henrieville News Items MELBA D. SMITH Visiting Elizabeth Baugh over the Memorial weekend were daughter Delane and Wendell Llttlefield. Also Granddaughter Linda and Norman Mead and baby, grandsons the Gregory Littlefields and baby, and the Dennis Palmers. They also visited the Wade Chynoweth family.. Visiting last week were Mrs. Baugh's brothers Frank and Delia Imlay of Escalante and Ashby (Hap) and Ina Imlay of Ogden. Mark and Reva Rasmusson recently visited with Eda Qull-ter. Clark Houston and daughter Sherrie and friend Brad of St, George visited at the Lay-ton Smith home on Sunday. Melba and JoAnn Smith spent Saturday at Panguitch with Mildred Deuel. Ed Smith is working at Cedar City for the summer. He and Kenny Shake-spear visited one day during the week at the Smith home. Memorial visitors at the De-loy Dutton home were Idonna Geyer of Ogden, Howard Savage and family, Oscar Dutton and Darnell (Deloy's daughter) of Cedar City. Gloria and Mary Lee Dunham of Layton, Dil-lard Thompson and wife. Dale and Linda Larson and boys spent Memorial Weekend with the Kay Willis family, also visitors for the week were Bob and Helen Willis of Hawthorne, Nevada. The Kay Willis spent the weekend In St. George and Washington with her brother and sister Rex Dutton and Ethel Adams. Max and Kathy Rose are staying with the Dave Roses for a few days, they have moved their mobile home from Washington County for the summer. The Milton Rose family went to Blanding last weekend to bring one of the Martinou girls out here for the summer and to visit her folks. Dave and Delpha Rose and two younger ones made a trip to Roosevelt to move Ken and Artolse Piatt and family to Cedar City, he will teach there this coming school year. After a two-week visit with her grandparents Jeanette Wa-rby returned to her parents, the Clint Warby's of Kearns. The grandparents, Ike and Janet LeFevre took her to Pleasant Grove where they met Joyce and sons, Inez Winberg and Marty Kleese and had a chicken dinner at the Len Anderson's new home. Kelly Kleese went to Iowa to spend the summer with his grandfather Kleese on the farm. Edith and Mary Ann Barker spent the opening of fishing season at Otter Creek Reservoir. The families of David Marcellas Woolsey were having a reonlon. Harvey Moosman and wife were there.. The next day Amon. Edith and David visited his sister Retha and Grant Mclnelly there. This weekend the Leslie Barkers and son of Las Vegas visited the Amon Barkers. Mrs. Gtn-eal Frazier and son and Ha Alvey stopped Monday at the Lee Smith home on their way to EUnt from Salt Lake City. Ed Llttlefield came to get Dorothy who had been staying with her -parents, the Jim Smiths for a week. Brett Reynolds stayed with his grandmother, while his parents went to Springdale for the wedding of Johnny Heaton. Royce and Suzanne Griffin and boys of Midland, Texas, spent a week here with the Le-land Griffins and Charlie Win-tch. They went with the Grif-fins for the wedding of Bradley Griffin and Anne Myers. Keith Johnson is here with his family for the summer. Their baby son was blessed in Sacrament Meeting on the 3rd by his grandfather Herschel Partner. Violate Martin and family visited that week with the Partners. Champ Moore is here with his mother Ruby Moore for the summer from his teaching at Weber State College at Ogden. Alta Rae Hansen and Terrl McAllister of Salt Lake City and Olga Anderson and son of Cedar City visited Saturday. Elayne Johnson, home from college at Logan, and Janice Rose are working at the visitors' center at Bryce. The Clem Johnsons and son of Provo have moved here for the summer. Their daughter. Martha and Milton Diamond have visited them. Charlie Dale Ford as been home on leave from the Army visiting his mother Marjorle Ford and sister Mary Elizabeth. Oscar and Jean Willis have moved here from Grand Canyon and are having their place the former Marlon Willis home remodeled. Thora and Marilyn Partner went to California with daughter Louise and Joel Harrison and baby after their visit here. Thora went to attend graduation exercises for daughter Joyce Sorensen and son-in-law Bill Holmes. The thiee older children of Mary Carol and Joe Izatt are visiting at the Eugene Qullter home. Mary Carol is home from the hospital and improving. Kay Clark of Glen Canyon visited the Qullters on Sunday, The Melvin Qullters are here visiting. The Bryan Johnson family visited Sunday, Relatives from here along with the Qullter and Johnson families went to Topic Sunday for Sacrament Meeting to hear Nephew Gary Bybee report on hiss mission, and for a family get-together at the Give Bybee's. The speakers In Sacrament Meeting representing the Stake High Council were Alton Sha-kespear, Marlon Clark and Kenneth Gouldlng. Several More women are working at Bryce Canyon, Pink Cliffs and Ruby's Inn for the summer. Having birthdays the last two weeks were Arvella and Harry Johnson. Russell Willis and De-nnU Shakespear. The weddln anniversaries of Eugene and LaKsy Qullter, Thorley and Virginia Johnson, Nephl and Shanna Gouldlng, Kenny and Ikralc Gouldlng. |
