Show Henrieville News Items MELBA D. SMITH The Relief Socity held their annual birthday celebration on Saturday, March 17, with a turkey dinner and program for members and their partners. Elizabeth Baugh received a phone call from grandson Ross Palmer saying he is home from Vietnam and visiting his parents at Ogden before leaving for his new base. Roxie Chynoweth went as far as Payson Saturday with Clem Johnson on his way back to Provo to visit daughter Nel-da and Virgil Jolley and other relatives in the northern part of the state. On Fast Sunday March 4th Ladora Baugh, Shanna and Wayne Goulding, June and 1 Betty Nelson went to Cedar City for tho christening of Robbie Lyn Goulding, born on January 29, 1973, to Robert and Sally Goulding.' Robbie Lyn was given a father's blessing assisted by her maternal grandfather and uncles and her paternal great grandfather. Rob Sally and children visited Sunday the 18th with the Nephl Gouldings prior to Rob's . beginning student teaching in Hurricane. They have moved to Toquerville for the next three months. Jane and Michael are here for a weeks visit at the Gouldings. Those having birthdays this week are Marjorle Ford, Kelly '" NeUson and Tom Smith. Milt- on and Brenda Rose and boys 'from HanksvUle were visit- t Ing at the Dave Roses over the "" weekend, Collin Rose from SUSC was also home for the college break. David and Kathryn Pollock and sons of Orem and Wynona Henderson and daughter of Granger visited with parents . the Ken Gouldings and brothers Ken and Steve and families. They came for the graveside services of the infant daughter of Steve and Kathy Gouldlng. Leland and Berthene Griffin were in Cedar City Saturday. Bradley Griffin and Ann Myers visited at the Griffins. Dorian and Mary Johnson of West Jordan have a baby boy born March 14th. Grandpar ents here are the Thorley John- sons. Conrad, Harry and Nolan Johnson went to Salt Lake City and Bountiful. John and Amy Clarke and John E. Oark and fiancee Terry Smith, and Anna Clark visited Thursday ot the Lee Smith home. Rose Jakopatz and husband John Sanders were visiting with the Eugene Qullters and other friends. They are mak ing their home in Glen Canyon City. Eda Qullter is In Hanks ville visiting. Grandson Peter Johnson left on his mission to Washington. The Primary presented the program in Sacrament Meeting on Sunday. |
