Show AGED MAN INJURED IN FALL H C pioneer tailor suffers fractured hip bone in fall wed H C age 79 years pioneer tailor of this city was painfully injured wednesday morning in a tall fall on the pavement near his place ot of business on main street which resulted in the fracturing of his right hip bone he was also severely shaken up and bruised by the fall all the aged man had been accustomed to riding to and from his tailor shop in a ford car with his son in law carl seashore proprietor of the box bos elder tin shop wednesday morning carl drove up to the curb as usual to let mr off and in stepping from the car to the curb he miscalculated the distance between the walk and the car and stepped into the curb unexpectedly lie he was thrown heavily to the pavement and inifred as stated he was taken to his home on 2nd and west street by mr seashore and later to the pearse hospital where lie he was given surgical attention by dr R A pearse an xray X ray photo showed the fracture to be of a serious nature and the aged man will probably be confined to the hospital tor for several weeks |
