Show The Intermediate 'Cat's Meow Among other talk we hear, as we go round the school, we hear most The Eighth grade, Gee. 1 sure wish t'.ose hitch school kids would look at us, especially the Freshics and Sophomores: Seventh. The Intermediate hasn't grown much since the past eighth grade left They have gained some people who stay with families until school is out The) have a nice soft green carpet, and the principal is ask inc. the support of students not to throw gum onto it and also no five-minute naps be tween classes It also saves the principal's breath, he doesn't have to stand at the head and yell to everyone, "get back down and walk up the stairs quiet!'' The students think the teachers are really going to be great, including Miss Pickins our new Home Ec. and P. E. teacher, but all must admit they sure miss Mrs. Proctor and all that running around the gym On Sept. 19th. the 8th grade elected their president, vice-president and secretary; in charge of the elections were Pat Riggs and Dorothy Young Class president is Betty Huntington, vice president Marilyn Henrie and secretary Pat Riggs We haven't elected the school officers yet, but we arc planning to in November. New comers in the In termed iate school are Paul Morris. Calvin Yassy. 7th grade. |
