Show Tropic Topics j BY ELLA ADAIR Our town has received an Invitation to attend the Christmas dance in Escalante Dec. 25th Rod Syrett, Qulnn Willis, I-ane Ruesch and Greg Pollock are home for Christmas from Ft. Ord. Rod and Greg have been In the hospital with pneumonia Quinn will leave In Jnuary for Viet Nam Peggy Palmer visited at the Afton Pollocks on Sunday. The Steven Lynch family made a trip to Ogden. The Andy Strebels are spending Christmas at the O-bie Shakespeare. The Primary will sponsor a program for children Christmas Eve in the church. Home for the holidays are Kenneth Alvey from Mexico; Orlan Ruesch, and all of the college students. A Christmas program was presented in Sunday School. The Jr. Sunday School presented Christmas in song and verse. Other speakers were Royce Pollock, Susan Lynch, Lisa LeFevre, Jeff Long, Leon Stewart, Marian and E. R. Shakespear. The Lester Clarkes attended the wedding of their son Richard and Judy Smith in the St. George Temple Saturday. A reception was held in Circle ville in the evening. A recep tion and dance will be held In Tropic Dec. 29th Fills LeFevre returned to Brigham City with his brother John to work for the Park Service for two months Cherl Feltner's parents from San Diego are visiting with her for Christmas. The Loral Bartons have their daughter Loretta and family and son Cliff home for Christmas. Bishop Bybee, Carl Syrett. and Keith Whitney took three car loads of boys and girlt to St. George Saturday to the temple for baptisimal work. James Munson was released as the adult leader in MIA and Keith Whitney was sustained in his place. The program in Sacrament meeting Sunday was presented by the choir and college students. Speakers were Val. Cheryl and Colleen Shakes-pear, Paula Wlntch, Gary By-bee. Quinn Willis and Lane Ruesch. Musical number by Martin Rich and two by the choir. Luclla Mangum. Mary Jo Barton.
