Show NOTICE TO WATER USERS The following applications have been filed with the State Engineer to change and ap propriatc water in Garfield County, State of Utah, throughout the entire year unless otherwise designated. Locations are SLB&M. a-5143, Hatch Irrigation Co., Haich. Sec. 5, T-37tf, R7Vv', by means of pumps, storage tanks, and pipe, com-ingled, and used for domestic pui poses in 500 cabins in NK-4, Ui4 Sec. 5, 137S. R7W. Trenton Ave., Orange, Calif., propose to change the point of diversion and nature of use of .03 sec.-ft. of water evid- enccd by Underground Water Claims 21869 (61-376) and 21870 (61-377). The water has been diverted from either or both of two wells dug 5 ft. in diameter and 35 ft deep at the following points (21869) S. 1455 ft W. 890 ft from NE Cor. of SEU (21870) S 2399 ft W. 652 ft. from NE Cor. of SK'.SE'i. both in Sec 35, T-35S, R5W, comingled. and used for domestic purposes of two families and stockwatcring of 100 cattle and 200 poultery Uses were in SEViSE Sec 35, T35S, R5W. Hereafter .03 sec.-ft. or 4.97 ac ft. of water is to be diverted from an 8-ln. well 100 300 ft. deep at a point S 1455 ft. W. 890 ft. from E Cor. Sec. 35, T35S, R5W, and used for domostic purposes of six families or 40 persons In a motel and for stockwatering of 20 horses in SEKSEVi Sec. 35, T35S, R5W. 38084 (97-171) Paul Steed. Box 135, Escalante, Utah, proposes to divert .5 sec.-ft. of water from a spring tributary to Escalante River at a point N. 03' W. 453.31 ft., thence N. 84' 12' W. 214.3 ft. from SE Cor. Sec. 8, T35S, R3E, and use it for generation of power in a 7:'o K w. steam plant for operation of a dry kiln and sawmill. The overflow from the power plant is to be used for stockwatering of 30 cattle and supplemental irrigation of 80 acs. Uses arc to be In SEU Sec. 8; WttfWtf Sec. 9, T35-S, 113 E. 38085 (97 169) Paul Steed, Box 135, Escalante, Utah, proposes to divert 1 sec.-ft. of water from the Escalante River at a point N. 1650 ft. E. 871 ft. from SH Cor. Sec. 8, T35S, R3E, and use it supplementally for fire protection, a log pond, log washing, sprinkling of lumber yards, washing ash from burner, and all uses in connection with the operation of a sawmill. The overflow of water from the sawmill is to be used for supplemental irrigation of 80 acs. Uses are to be in SE Sec. 8; WHSWH Sec. 9. T35S, R3E. This application is to appropriate the .5 sec -ft. of water that was to have been returned under Application 28976. Protests resisting the granting of these applications with reasons therefor must be filed in duplicate with the State Engineer, 442 State Capitol, Salt Lake City, Utah, on or before Apr. 29. 1967.
