Show Birthday Party Helps Bank Mark 60 Year Of Service To commemorate 60 years of banking service to Southern Utah residents the First State Bank will hold an open house on April 3rd from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with everyone invited to inspect facilities, meet the personnel and officers. Visitors will be treated to refreshments, favors, balloons for children, and a coin guess ing contest in which the closest guesser to the dollar value of the coins in a container will receive the coins Special feature will be a displav of $10,000 U.S. bills The First State Bank opened for business in 1907 and is now the largest in Southern Utah and ranks No. 14 in sire among all of the banks of the state In 1955 the bank opened its Panguitch office.
