Show Two Big Rodeo Performances To Top 24th Of July Celebration Rodeo time has rolled around again, so it's Ride 'Im Cowboy' as a theme for the three day holiday, July 24. 25. 26. at Panguitch. Utah's own unique holiday, the 24th of July, will be celebrated for the three full days starting on Thursday, the 24, and continuing over Friday and Saturday. Plana for the 24th call for a parade at 9:30 a.m. (to beat the traditional 24th shower), then there will be a patriotic program presented by the D.U.P. at the North ward chapel at 11 a.m. A camp cook-out type barbecue will be held on the North ward lawn with serving starting at 12 noon. Big doings for the younger folks will be kddies races, baseball, and other events at the high school track and ball diamond. These v. ill start at 3 p.m. It is suggested that any spare time during the day be filled In with family and class reunions, and then everyone can come to the big dance with one of Southern Utah's best known bands at the Social Hall starting at 9 p.m. At 5 p.m. on Friday evening, July 25. and Saturday, the Rodeo Queen will lead the guys and gals of the rodeo in the Rodeo parade. And then comes Rodeo time, on Friday and Saturday at 3 p.m. under the lights at the rodeo grounds all the fun and excitement of the wild w 'st s sport will take over. Stock Is furnished by well-known Young and Young outfit., some of the best buckers and cowboy pounders going in the west. |
