Show Getting Ready For A Grand And Glorious Fourth ; DRYCE LIONS BUILD NEW RODEO GROUNDS Members of the Bryce Lions Club have put in many long hours getting their new Rodeo grounds ready for their annual celebration in Tropic on July 4th. In picture Sam Pollock carries pole to other Lions, to help construct modern loading chute. The new grounds are located in west part of town, back of the school grounds, on the road to the town reservoir. COMPLETES TRAINING Pvt. Douglas R. Talbot, son of the Archie W. Talbots, completed a 14-week automotive repair course at the Army Ordnance Center and School, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, on June 26th. Doug received instruction in the maintenance and repair of engines for the Army's tracked and wheeled vehicles. He entered the Army last December and completed basic training at Fort Polk, La. |
