Jane Woolsey, had Roe, and Clema Barney from Page, and Vada and Eddie Martin and children from Florida. Eddie had a call to be in Salt Lake for April conference so Vada stayed here with her mother. Annie Alvey Lay is here getting her home ready to sell to Don. Coleman. She came from Washington with some neighbors to Hyrum where Vernon and Edna Peterson live, they brought her on down and Edna stayed, to help her sort and do away with things accumulated for 53 years. Last week had several Interesting events, the Sophomore Skid was held with Bill Griffin's orchestra furnishing the music, they had a special number by the Beetles and Beetle wigs were auctioned off, Mary Griffin bought one and she and Bill 'Griffin put on a floor show. The town really turned out to attend the Garkane meet-tags in OrderviUe and Wayne County. Some lucky fellows are still on at the dam, George Hamilton, Vergene Porter and Harvey Llston, they all spent Easter here with their families. Most every one, sought the wide open spaces either Saturday or Sunday, got dirty and sunburned and had a perfectly lovely time.
