And An Addition Forest Ranger Mark Jones reports only a trace of precipitation recorded at the Forest Service weather station at Panguitch during the past week. The lowest temperature recorded was 1. High temperature during the week was 56. The average temperature was 50, Mine 13 degrees higher than the average for the same period last year. A Powell District crew from . Panguitch including Ranger !' , Bruce Hronek, Bob Jacobsen, and Norman Huntsman were able to drive to the Pinyon Juniper removal area in -Sheep Creek. Numerous Coyote and deer tracks were noted along the Sheep Creek road. The snow depth varied considerable however it averaged 10 inches along the road. A new prospective Forest Ranger was born to Norman and LaRee Huntsman February 7th In Panguitch. The proud parents will name him Gregory. Norman is the Range Conservationist on the Powell Ranger District. |
