Show HATCH Reva Lowder The Primary held a Christmas Eve program all the child-ren took part. Santa presented each child oranges or a stocking full of goodies. Christmas night the grownups enjoyed a dance with music by the Sun Downers. Many of our townspeople decorated their homes for the Christmas season; first prize was given to the Ivor Riggs; 2nd; Effcl Rlggs; 3rd Bob Evans. Tho judges had a hard time deciding between tho many beautifully decorated home. We had beautiful weather during the holidays. Wo could enjoy some snow now. During the holidays the M IA sponsored a volley ball at the hall. A sleigh-riding party at the Frog Pond bend. A Buno Party at the hall, all with refreshments. The John Mechams of Tropic, Delia Rae and Clint Bybee of Kanab visited the Oliver Huntingtons Friday. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Riggs left Christmas day for California to visit several days with their children the Kay Browns family and the Oscar Larsens. The Samuel Barnhurst, Sr., family reunion was held here Saturday. Many out ' of town members of the family attended the reunion. Mrs. Sessie Clark of Order-ville visited the Lynn Evans family during the holidays. Mrs. DeLin Crofts and sons of Panguitch visited them Christmas day and again on Sunday. The Pat Dix family of Pan-guitch spent Christmas day at the Oliver Huntingtons. The Lamond Davis family of Panguitch visited the Gale Wil-cock family Christmas day and stayed overnight. Staying several days at Christmas with the Arnold Saw ycrs were the LaVal Sawyers of St. George and tho Vay. Sawyers of Kanab, who also visited the Karl Lowdcrs. Christmas day the Boyce Trumans of Panguitch visited at the Ivor Riggs home. Mr. and Mrs Orlas Riggs and Ralph visited in St. George during the holidays with the Jerry Riggs family also at Salt Lake visiting their children there. Mr. and Mrs. Wiley Huntington and sons visited at Monroe Saturday and attended the ball game in the evening; on Christmas day they visited at Orderville with the Allen Huntingtons. |
