Show TROPIC TOPICS ELLA ADAIR The Roy Shakespear family visited in Orem this week. Mr. and Mrs. Oral Richins arc visiting at the John Hatch home this week. The Glen Laudcrs of Spring-ville spent a few days with Sara Shakespear. The Amond Johnsons and Sarah Porter of Hatch visited the Derel Sudweeks during the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Kay Christen-sen and children of Salt Lake are visiting at the Dar Smiths. A family birthday party for Beatrice Lowe was held the 28. The Rodney Sudweeks visited Jane Sudweeks this week. Commemorating the wedding anniversary of their parents, the children of Mr. and Mrs. Levi Bybee met at the home of their mother Ella By-bee for a family dinner Dec. 26. Present were the Clive By-bees, Lynden and Giovanna Sudweeks of Tropic, Paul and Mary Steed of Escalante, the Mark Bybees of Cedar City, Willam and Erna Casebolt of Price, Carl and Jean Syrett of Panguitch, the Frank Bybees of Kanab, Terry and Sandra Ward of Hunter, also their children. Alice Ahlstrom and children are back after visiting in Texas. The Morris Marshalls visited Ruth Marshall for Christmas. Mr. and Mrs. Ward Mangum spent the holidays with the W. H Mangums. Laura Mangum went back to Beauty College sporting a new diamond, the lucky man is Kent Cottam of Escalante. The James Munsons, Dorma Barton, Cecy Pollock, Elizabeth Barton, the Ben Copes, the Alton and the Wm. Shakespears attended funeral services for Leo Munson in Escalante. The Ursel Otts are visiting their daughter Beth and family in Payson. Jenny LeFevre visited her parents in Oak City. Mr. and Mrs. Ellis LeFevre visited son Jimmy last week, he is much improved. Dee Pollock is up and around after being confined to bed with rheumatic fever. The Will Shakespears spent the holidays with George and the Harmon Shakespears Mr. and Mrs-Richard Munson and daughter spent the holiday with the James Munsons. Leda Pratt and family visited her mother Jane Sudweeks this week. The Stanley Mechams made a trip to Salt Lake to visit Ma-len Mecham. Roy Willis is improving after his recent operation. -The Bob Ott family and Florence Shakespear have new cars. ,.d The Bernell Twitchells are visiting with Thelma Jolley this week. Royal Alvey, Marcia Cope and Florence Shakespear were visitors in Cedar last week. The Curtis Taylor family is visiting at the Ben Cope home, this week. The Joe Aliens son Blake was able to spend Christmas out of the hospital at home. Robert Headman and parents of Calif, were visitors at the George Wilsons. Marian Shakespear gave a book review at the Better Homes Club Thursday night. Hostesses were Dixie Shakespear, Glenna Pollock, Truie Allen, Janet LeFevre. The Brent Adairs of Minneapolis, Minn, had two of our missionaries to Christmas dinner, Royce Griffin of Henrie-ville and Blaine Tebbs of Panguitch. Spending the holidays with the Ira Littlefields were Rose and Dick Mallard of Salt Lake and the James Beattys of Hurricane. The Alton Shakespears had the Daryl Sawyers and Lynn Bartons of Orderville and the Jay Shakespears of Cedar for Christmas. Bill, Cheryl and :Collette Shakespear returned to Orderville, for a visit. Evadean Francisco visited her sisters and their families in Salt Lake last week. The Dennis Nelson family of Ferron visited the Kerry Nelsons last week. Speakers in Sacrament meeting Sunday were; Ann and Dean Shakespear, Kay Barton, Waldo n Sudweeks, Carmen Shultz. A musical number was given by Marian and June Shakespear and Leona Stewart. Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Hall, their two children and grandchildren, visited with the Horace Halls Saturday. Amplus LeFevre is home from her visit in Henderson, Nevada. The Wallace Otts had the George Middleton fomily, Bob Middleton, the Kenneth Gould-ing Jr. family and the Kenneth Goulding family for Christmas dinner. |
