Show Name Panguitch Businessman To Utah SBA Advisory Council Appointment to the Utah Advisory Council of the Small Business Administration o f Clem H. Church, local motel and service station operator, was announced by William G. Bruhn, Regional Director, SBA. Mr. Church is a graduate of Panguitch High School, is a member of the Garfield County Board of Education, has served as past President of the Panguitch Chamber of Commerce, Commissioner of the Utah State Highway Commission, and Director In the Panguitch Industrial Development Corporation. Announcing the appointment at a recent council meeting, Mr. Bruhn added that SBA had raised Its ceilings on two types of loans in an effort to help local businessmen during the current tight money market. Ceilings on Direct Loans have been raised from $50,000 to $100,000. and from $100,000 to $150 thousand on loans participated In by. banks. The $350,000 limit on SBA Guaranteed Loans remain. Council members serve without paand their job is to help Regional Directors evaluate the effectiveness of SBA Programs in assisting small business In the various communities of the State. |
