Show PANGUITCH Kenneth and Judl Roe and son Dusty, and Ardith Davis and two youngest children Karen an Michelle stayed at Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Roe's over the weekend. They came down to attend Russell's missionary farewell. Ken, Judl and Dusty returned to Smithfield Monday where Ken Is teaching Art and Speech at the newly con-' solidatcd Sky View High School. They dropped Ardith and children off at their home in Orem. Harold Lindsay, County Agent, and Mayo lllggs attended a Weed Control school at Cedar City. Harold is nursing a bruised back and leg received in a two car collision near Es-calante. Mrs. Mildred Deuel spent the weekend in Hcnricville at the Layton Smith home. Mrs. Bern Miller is in Henderson, Nevada caring for her grandchildren while her daughter Marlene Lewis undergoes surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Mayo Riggs made a recent overnight trip to Salt Lake on business, they stopped off at Orem to visit daughter Kay and family, the George Cherringtons. Dr. Athur Cooper of Tucson, Arizona was a recent visitor in town. His parents, Mr. and Mrs Jed Cooper returned to Tucson with him and returned home Saturday after spending several days in Arizona. Stanley D. Tcbbs is home after spending four days in Greeley, Colorado on Farm Bureau business. When Coach Bob Davis brought his team from Pleas- ant Grove to play the local boys (and win) in a fund raising basketball game, local people took in the visiting boys; Bob and the assistant coach stayed with Bob's folks, the Lyman Davis'; Tom Dodds, Bruce Howard, Frank Proctor and Harry Gardner each had two of the boys, and Jay Riggs had one. M. Kay Heywood is still in the hospital. Erroll Dowdell is seriously ill in the hospital. |
