Show Henrieville By Vlreinia Johnson Quite a few folks have, been sick but are feeling better. Thora Partner was home for a few days from the hospital but had to go back Saturday, she has improved a little. The Darreld Neilson family, Lula Moore and son Frankie made a trip to Springville and visited the Virgil Jolleys. Visiting on the weekend at the Elmo Bushnells and Ruby Moores were Alta Rae McAllister of Pangultch and Laura Clark of Bountfiul: Donna Shafer of Salt Lake is visiting for awhile with her folks, the Ora Shafers. Mild-dred Rose spent several days here with her; folks, the David Hoses before going back to college. Verland and Millie Rose, ConratLJohnson and Cray Pollock foiled over on the road three times as, they were coming home from Cedar on Jan. 26th.. .The car was wrecked badly but none, were seriously hurt. Having qulltings this week were Zella Willis and Rhoda Shafer. Home from college were Royce Griffin and Verland Rose. The David Roses and son Max went to Provo on Saturday. Pack. meeting was held here with a large crowd of boys and their families, present. Skits were presented by Virginia Johnson's and Shanna Gould-lug's dens, with a grand parade from Tropic. Theme of the meeting was Transportation under direction of Mr. Barnctt. Frank Savage Jr., son of Frank and Clatle Savage of No. Las Vegas, returned Jan. 16th from a 2 year mission to Korea. The Orlo Gouldings received word Jan. 4 that their oldest son Lavor has been elected to vice president and general manager of H. C. Shaw Co. of Stockton, Calif. The Orlo Gouldings drove to Albuquerque, N. M. Jan. 16 to visit their daughter Zoe and family, the Ernest Maes, and also visited in Alamosa, Colo, and Sante Fe, N.M. On the way back on Jan. 19th their car rolled over aft-ter hitting an ice spot on the road. They were treated at a Farmlngton, N.M. hospital for bruises, shock and exposure, Faun was in the hospital three days. They came and stayed in Provo until th 23rd. Orlo went to. the. doctor Tuesday for treatment, both are getting better. |
