Show Hatch HEVA LOWDER The Asay Family held a reunion here and at Asay Friday and Saturday. They built a monument close to the site of the old town. Many relatives from Utah and neighboring states were here. The Darol Alireas visited In Beaver Sundav with relatives. Monday they left for home In Omaha after a month's vis-It here with her parents, the Oliver Huntlngtons, and other relatives. Valeene Sawyer accompanied them to Omaha to visit for some time. The Val Sawyers of Salt Lake visited the Arnold Sawyers over the weekend. Monday Mrs. Arnold Sawyer left for Salt Lake to visit Vay and family for a week. The Vay Sawyers, the T. H. Sawyers, the O. Huntlngtons, ' the David Sawyers, the Karl Lowders, the Darol Allreds, and the Robert Palmers held a family get-together at Pine Lake 6n Saturday. The Robert Palmers of Nevada are here visiting for a while. Monday they took Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Sawyer for a week's tour. Dallas and Maggie Barn-hurst, Sarah Porter and Dayne Wilcock visited the DeRel Sudweeks in Tropic Sunday. Saturday Mrs. Ammon Johnson and baby of Ordervllle vis: ited her mother, Mrs. Porter. Mrs. Wayne Harris and son of Glendale accompanied her here and visited her parents, the Max Haneys. May and Myra Swapp, De-Noma Matsen and daughters of Salt Lake returned home after visiting here for two weeks. The Ronald Sawyers visited here over the weekend; other weekend visitors In town were Karl and Jess Lowder who are working in Salt Lake; Arnold Sawyer, Ed Turek, the Jay Duttons and the Gib Clarks of Kanab. Homer Dutton visited In Nevada the latter part of the week, Sunday he left for Kanab where he has employment. The Santley Sawyers of Nevada and Karen Sawyer of Salt Lake vlsltod here for a few days. Saturday Jess Lowder went to Cedar City to see about a place to live this coming winter and to sign up for college at CSU. Mr. and Mrs. George Workman went to Duck Creek Monday for a family outing with the Keith Workmans of Cedar City. Visiting the Workmans a week ago were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Workman of Salt Lake, Mrs. Thay Tate, her daughter Gale and husband and daughter of Spring City (enroute to tour Arizona), they also visited the'T. H. Sawyers. The Stuart Robertson family of Kanab visited Mr. and Mrs. Workman on Sunday. |
