Kurt Sawyer celebrated his 9th birthday March 12th with a party, a largo number of his classmates from Pan-guitch were present at the party held at the home of Kurt's grandparents, the Oli ver Huntingtons. Barbara and Janel Barney each had a birthday party on March 11th. A large number of our townspeople attended the basketball tournament at Salt Lake last week. A baby girl was born on March 10 in Cedar City to Max and Clyda (Porter) Torres. Ruth and Charlott Wlson visited in St. George with Mr 2nd Mrs. M. H. Barnhurst. , The Pat Dix family of Pan-guitch visited with the Oliver Huntingtons on Saturday. Verna Thorley and children of Cedar City visited one day last week with Mrs. Mar-cie Dutton. We are enjoying a wonderful snow storm for the past three days, we have about 10 inches of new snow and it's frtill falling. Mrs. Orlas Riggs and Du-ard Riggs visited in Salt Lake during the week. The Wiley Huntington family visited in St. George on Saturday. The Leland Riggs family went to Salt Lake the latter . part of last week, while there Leland attended a school conference. Word was received by the Jesse Wilsons that Russell Wilson, who has been having trouble with a spit disc In Ms back had to have a cast put on his back. The Lynn Brertons of Pro-vo visited D. H. Evans and other relatives this week. Cedar City visitors were .Hope and Shannon Dalton, Idonna Deuel, Homer Dutton, Evan Wilcock, Cal Burrows, Donna and David Riggs, and Vilate Barney. Melda Davis of Cannonville and Mary LeFevre of Tropic visited Wednesday with the Lamond Davis family. Weekend visitors in town were the Vay Sawyeis of Loa, Karl Lowder, Grant Dalton, Lamond Davis, Wayne Harris of Glendale, Phillip Robinson of Alton, Ammon Johnson of Orderville. Delten Campbell was home from a St. George college for a few days last week. Visiting in Richfield on Thursday were Verda and Le-ora Sawyer and Ardell Riggs, while there they visited Aunt Becky Wilson and Mary Barney. |
