Show D.U.P. CORNELIA CAMP HOLDS ELECTIONS , Cornelia Camp of D. U. P. met May 20th"ln ihe D. U. P. building with Myr.a Miller conducting and presiding. Prayer was given by chaplain Gene LeFevre. Song, "Swa-nee River", led by Lois Mal-oney, accompanied by Myra Miller. Myra read a history of her grandmother' El me da Stringham Harmon. Lesson' was given by: "Clara Worthen orrthe Negro Pioneer; Elections were, held with Myra Miller chosen as commander, Mildred Riggs, 1st commander; Armeda Farnsworth, 2nd commander; Ro-ene Houston, registrar;, Thel-ma Ortoh, historian; Fenella Sevy, chaplain. Refreshments were served by hostesses Mildred Riggs, Cleo Hatch and Thelma Orton. Our meeting was adjourned until next September. |
