Show HENIUEV1UJ3 By Virginia Johnson Those attending Mariah A-dalr's funeral were Nellie Smith, Ruby Moore, Allcne Riddle and Rae Smith. Bishop and Roxle Chyn-oweth, Lula Moorei reported a nice visit to Kaysville, Lay-ton and Payson. Bishop Chy-noweth performed the marriage ceremony for his grand son Harvey Jolley and Anna-Rao Van Nasdol. Roxlo bought some Christmas presents and they disappeared so shopped and got some-more, when they unpacked at home they found both boxes. Mrs. Ray Sevy of Panguitch spent Thursday night with the Reed Gouldings. Visiting on Saturday at the Harry Partner home were Le Grand Pendleton and Steven Dukes. The LaVar Ahlstroms of Salt Lake also visited after attending the funeral for Frank Lay in Escalante. Mr. and Mrs. David Qullter left Monday for Hanks-ville where they plan on staying until after Christmas. Sherrie Quilter was here visiting her grandparents. Olaf and Lylllan Shakes-pear were in Richfield Saturday. Kay and Laura Clark spent Sunday here from Glen City. Calvin Burrows of Hatch was at the Irving Rose home. Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Johnson and boys visited in Hurricane and St. George on Saturday. They reported that Sears Willis nearly had pneumonia but was able to start working in the temple again. Arvella Johnson went to Salt Lake to visit her three children and families and on to Sunnyside where her husband is employed, he plans on coming back with her for a few days. Our ward Primary held a Teacher Trainer class Sunday evening in the church under the direction of Virginia Smith. A lovely program was presented and 27 officers, teachers and partners were present. A supper was served. Mrs. Alta Henderson was visiting here Saturday with her daughter Mrs. Rhoda Shafer. |
