Show THE WOHI) FROM HOULDKK BY ALICE ALVEY Things have really been slow over hero lately. Its turned so cold maybe every body Is too frozen to get around. We ha"o an Inch or two of snow, no moisture in it tho. The cold weather isn't doing any thing for all the sick. Tho flu has been putting a few adults In bed along with some teenagers. Ivan Lyman took his ami-ly to St. George to visit his mother and do somo Temple work. Golda and Lelandllaws spent a few days in Salt Lako visiting their kids and Leland attended a GarKane meeting. Richard and. Marilyn Griffin spent a few days In Salt Lake and Garland on business and visiting their aunt Oneta Shurtz. Jimmy Peterson, Paul Hansen, Clyde Ormond, Gary Wayne Haws, and El von Foul-son went to Parowan Saturday night to play basketball. I haven't heard how they camo out. Cecil Alvey and Pole Griffin spent a couple of days riding on King's and Bound's Bench scattering salt and checking on the cattle.
