Show Mr. And Mrs. Myron Willis To Celebrate Golden Weddinfj Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Myron P. Willis Mr. and Mrs. Myron P. Willis will celebrate their Golden Wedding anniversary with an open house at their homo in Henrieville from 4 to 6 P.M. on Oct. 22nd. Friends and relatives are invited to call; the couple requests no gifts. Mr. Willis was bora in Ka-narravillo on Aug. 18, 1884 a son of William Patterson and Almcda Roundy Willis. They moved to Henrieville when he was six years old. Mrs. Willis was born In Henrieville Feb. 13, 1893 to William Bates and Mary Littlefield Mecham. The couple was married Oct. 25, 1911 in Henrieville, the marriage was later solemnized in the Mantl LDS Temple. Both have been active mem-w bers of the LDS Church. He served In the bishopric for 17 years, and active in other ward organizations; he helped to get water piped into Henrieville for culinary purposes. Mrs. Willis was ward Relief society president 7 years, a visiting teacher over 20 years, and worked in the MIA, Sunday School and Primary. They are parents of 11 children, 7 of whom are still alive: Mrs. G. S. (Thora) Goul-ding, O.rem; Mrs. Heishel (Maida) Partner, Dewoy Willis, Mrs. Berdell (Karma) Barton, Henrieville; Mrs. Ellis LeFevre, Tropic; Glade R, Willis, Mesa, Arizona; Mrs. Ro' bert (Almeda) Middleton, Grand Canyon, Arizona. They have 26 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. |
