Show County Receives $153,217.50 From B.L.M. Mineral Leases Garfield County's proportion of Utah's share of mineral leaso revenue from Federal lands during the first six months of this year amounted to $153,217.50. R. D. Nielson, Utah State Director for the U.S. Bureau of Land Management, this week presented a check for $1,713,634.37 to Gov. Clyde as the Stato's share of revenues received from mineral leases, grazing permits, timber sales and other sales from Federal, lands In Utah administered by BLM. Total BLM payments to" Utah for the 1960-61 fiscal year amounted to $2,962,057.-77, tho largest such payment In any fiscal year. Six months ago the BLMl payment to Utah Included $75,736.00 as the State's share from mineral leases on Federal lands in Garfield County, making tho County's 1960-61 fiscal year tatal $228,953.50. |
