The Wallace and the Glade Roundys accompanied by Betty Alvey went to Glen Canyon Dam, sight seeing; they had dinner with Mildred and Jennings Allen where they met Qulnn Roundy and had a good visit,- they also visited Melba Gates and Evadean Llstoh.'The birthday party for the twins, Verna Partridge and Verda Griffin was attended by Euzell and Golda Cot-tarn, Minnie Davis, Sariah Alvey, Neta Pollock, Thelda Webster, and Iris Porter. Ila Twitchell, widow of the late Eldon, and her daughter and husband were in town visiting relatives and friends. The Royal Afteys of Tropic were Sunday visitors with their mother, Annie Alvey. William Mitchell had his kids from Kingston here Sunday, Cloyd and wife Velma and their little girl, they brought him a fry of Elk. William fin-ally got word that Retha and her husband had arrived safely in Indiana, he was worried as there were so many storms and floods while they were traveling. The High School business teacher, Afton Morgan went to Salt Lake for his physical examination for Uncle Sam and Florence Alvey taught his classes. Jim and Shirlene Roberts and two daughters are here from New Mexico visiting her mother Neta Pollock. Mae Vonn and Arden Taylor and the child-ren went to Wayne County for a fanuly reunion of Ard-en's folks, his step brother was going on a mission and they wanted to all get together before he left. Eva Spencer has been North visiting and shopping for a Trailer house, Usher went to bring her home. Mayor Claron Griffin has that net Oldsmobilc, pink and white combination. Marian Adair is home after visiting her children In California, her son Jerry Porter brought her back, and her daughter Deioa Savage and small son are here visiting. Russel Wilson and two boy friends of Provo were here visiting friends and relatives; Russel Is living with Rudger and Velora Schurtz and working in a grocery (continue oc back paga) .
