Show Services Held In Panguitch For Howard Dee Veater Funeral services for Upward Dee Vcatcr, 36, who died In Dillon, Montana were held Monday in the Pangultch North ward chapel. Prayer In home was by J, Clair Veater. Prelude and Postlude music, Irene McEwen and Nina Steels; song "Sometime We'll Understand", choir; Prayer, Nello Ipson; Remarks, Dan Perkins; song, "Beyond The Sunset", Dick Exccll and Barbara Gal Marshall; Talk, Stewart LeFevre; song "God Will Dry Our Tears", Bill Horton; Talk, Alton Talbot; Remarks, Bishop June S. Barron; song, "Abide With Me", choir; Prayer, James II. Excell. The grave was dedicated by Boyd M. Veater. Burial was In the Panguitch Cemetery under direction of Neal S. Magleby Mortuary. Mr. Veater was born Jan. 1, 1925 at Clrclevllle to Simeon Howd and AHlc Webb Veater. He married Ane Marie Exccll on Dec. 29, 1943 In the Temple at Mesa, Arizona. II e attended Pangultch schools where he was active In athletics, and a member of a 4H team which won many Howard Dec Veater contests on a State level In 1942 he went to San Diego where he worked In an airplane factory, entered the U.S. Air Force in 1944 and when released in 1945 he returned to Panguitch for a year. He then worked at Hill-field until called out by the reserves, for duty during the Korea era; he served in France and various places, and in Texas where he was. an instructor. When released he -made his home in San, Berdt' no, Calif and worked at Nor. ton Air Field. In 1960 he was selected to go to a specialized school in. Texas on guided missies, returned to San Ber-dlno when the course was finisher, and then was transferred to Wyoming. Survivors: widow, son Lesley, daughters Tanya, DeeAne, Lois, Michelle, Salt Lake; mother, San Diego; father, Pangultch; brothers, sister: L. Douglas, Salt Lake; Boyd M., Highland, Calif.; J. Clair, San Bernardino; Mrs. Douglas (Marva) Simklns, Clrclevllle; grandmother Mrs. Olive Kur-tenner, Springvllle. A large number of out-of-town relatives were here for tho services, all of Allle's brothers and sisters, also Howd's relatives.
